What softball teams hand out
- Home and away jerseys
- Pants
- Batting helmets
- Catcher's gear
- Bat bags
The softball template adds jersey, pants, and batting helmet in one tap. Add anything else as its own type.
Where it goes wrong
- A jersey goes home after a tournament and doesn't come back.
- Two players trade pants sizes and the list never gets updated.
- Nobody knows which batting helmets are getting old.
- Seniors keep their jerseys.
- Replacement costs come out of a budget that's already tight.
How GearCorral keeps it straight
Start from the softball template
One tap sets up jerseys, pants and batting helmets. Then add items by typing how many you have in each size. Each helmet can carry a recertification date.
Swaps in one step
Scan the old piece and the new one. GearCorral moves it to the right player and keeps the due date.
Receipts for families
Each family gets an email listing every piece, the replacement cost and the due date. They can acknowledge it by typing their name.
Still out, with names
After the season, Still out shows who has what and the replacement cost. Send reminders when you're ready.
Free through Feb 28, 2027. Then $79 per team per season, or $499 a year for every team in your school. See pricing
Questions softball coaches ask
Can families tell me they already returned something?
Yes. From their receipt, a family can mark an item as dropped off. When you scan it in, the note clears. If it never shows up, it's flagged "Claimed, not received."
What about catcher's gear and bat bags?
Add them as their own item types. Mark them Counted if you'd rather track how many are out than tag each one.
